Hola! I’m Verónica. Thank you for being here.
As a facilitator, coach, and somatic practitioner, I’ve guided hundreds of individuals, couples, and groups through conflict and disconnection.
My purpose is to help you experience new depths of connection—with others and with your deepest essence—where wisdom, joy, truth, and love reside.
By asking questions and truly listening, we can find common ground with just about anyone.
I grew up in an unconventional family in a very traditional society in Venezuela. My father has three children, each from a different mother. We also had differences in religion, economic background, and ethnicity.
This blend of beliefs and backgrounds taught me an important lesson: if I wanted to connect beyond our differences, curiosity was the key.
At 25, I completed my Masters in Marketing Communications in Boston. I moved to New York City, and spent over a decade working in consumer insights traveling the world talking to people about all kinds of topics from chocolate to diabetics.
One day, a friend told me about Vipassana, a 10-day silent meditation retreat. When I signed up, I didn’t realize that I would come back with an understanding that would change my entire life: it’s not the thoughts that cause us pain but the emotions they generate.
The problem is not thinking about the dateline I’m not sure I’ll meet, but the frustration and anxiety that accompany those thoughts. If I can separate my thoughts from the emotions, I can see things more clearly, I can feel a sense of peace and self-compassion. I can connect with a truer sense of self. This led to a deeper self-inquiry.
After a successful career, I left corporate and pursued my calling in the wellness world earning certifications in Executive Coaching, Neuro-Linguistic programing and Compassionate Inquiry.
How we can work together
My approach blends Executive Coaching, Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Compassionate Inquiry (somatic therapy). I also continually study ancestral integration, emotional inheritance, and Internal Family Systems.
Our work together can be both profound and practical. In one session, we may explore your childhood trauma, addiction, or anxiety and in another we may strategize on how to set healthy boundaries, provide feedback, or prepare for the next work presentation.
I offer virtual and in-person sessions in Miami, Florida. In English and Spanish.
Between Us was born seeking to understand what connects us all.
In 2018, I founded Dinner Confidential, which later became part of Between Us—a series of monthly dinner conversations where we share and listen to stories on our most complex and taboo topics.
Combining my research experience with my passion for community and connection, I created Dinner Confidential.
What started as one dinner grew into a global movement. Seven years later, Between Us has hosted over 650 gatherings across 42 cities, including Buenos Aires, Madrid, and Nairobi, where we’ve explored complex topics like power, money, sexuality, fear, and politics.
This experience taught me that many of us feel alone in our struggles, but when we come together to share our real stories with an AGENDA OF CURIOSITY, we discover common ground and our shared humanity.
Today, Between Us hosts monthly global dinners and offers communication training to help individuals, couples, and teams navigate hard conversations and have healthier disagreements.
What started as an experiment in my home grew into a global movement.
